We rented bikes from the bed and breakfast inn we were staying at.

We rode out to a local history museum (the island used to be a penal colony) but it was closed on Mondays.

For some reason the museum was in the shape of a pyramid. There was a sign saying "Do not climb" but you had to climb halfway up to see it, ha!

In addition to the faux Egyptian theme, the island also had fake Roman ruins and Indian symbols. I guess the tourists like that stuff.

Here I attempt three times to set Mie's camera for timed self-exposure.

And I blow it...

I rented a surfboard and went to the surfing beach, where just a month earlier they had held a pro surfing contest.

If you look closely, you can see the little speck named Dav waiting in vain for a wave to come.
