WH-AT?  Um, (a) I was not aware they were still together, and (b) HOLY CRAP!  This band represents a major chunk of my teen years - specifically in 1987-88 when I was in high school.  I worshipped Tawny Kitaen as my heavy-metal-babe-icon, and felt that some of Whitesnakes songs were the background music for my obsession with a much older guy in a band.  He worshipped then guitarist in Whitesnake (Adrian?),
and had a poster of him in his room that he paid homage to in hopes of becoming as good.  After a year of my all-consuming crush on this older guy, we ended up getting together.  During our brief affair actually attended a Whitesnake concert together - which was the pinnacle of my relationship and its association with this band.  That night I stepped out in my Tawny Kitaen-ness - HUGE crimped and teased hair, a fitted black dress, and a very 80's bolero leather jacket - that I bought just for the concert.

I can't believe I know someone who knows someone.  Nuts.

Yeah, a lot of bay area gig sluts actually do get good gigs. As for Uriah being in Whitesnake, in my humble opinion it seems to represent the ULTIMATE POSER!!!! Makes rock n roll boring and stale..
