Still haven't had time to finish up that Israel tale. When I got back I only had a week until I needed to go to North Carolina for a 10 day business trip (where I am now, actually; I head back to San Francisco tomorrow). That week was mostly taken up with getting prepared for the next trip and cleaning out the garage which was still full of all my boxes from the move.
Bored yet? Sorry.
New Year's Eve was fun, went to Anon Salon Sea of Dreams down at pier 35. It was a burning man crowd, and all of my bman friends were there. I think this was the first time I'd ever seen SF fireworks on NYE, since I was indoors the last couple of NYEs. Anyhow, it was fun, but no one to kiss at midnight :(
Somehow, I managed to lose my motorcycle key when I parked across from the pier. It was totally fucking bizarre. I lost the key before I even got off the bike! I think it slipped out of my gloved hand and fell way under the gas tank. I went in anyhow and tried not to think about it, then I left at 3:30am and took bus and BART back home for the spare (then back to pier 35). Ended up getting home around 5:30am. thank goddess the public transit was runnning so late for the NYE crowd.
The trip here to North Carolina has been fun, but hard work. We've accomplished a lot with our startup. We've got a couple of people on salary now, and two or three part timers. The next six months should be a little crazy.
